What you provide
When a parent creates an account, Lunch Crew uses the email address and password needed for sign-in. A household can also include the information a parent chooses to enter for planning, such as children's names, food choices, restrictions, rewards, and lunch plans.
If you contact support, we receive the information you include in your email.
How we use it
We use account and household information to provide Lunch Crew, keep a household's planner connected to its account, respond to support requests, and understand where the beta needs improvement.
Lunch Crew does not use children's lunch choices as advertising data.
Beta analytics
Lunch Crew uses limited beta analytics to understand which product pages and actions are being used. The analytics design does not send child names, lunch contents, reward names, or raw household identifiers. It also excludes email addresses, account IDs, and food names. Before sign-in, a random browser-session identifier keeps only bounded landing, referrer-origin, and campaign context. After sign-in, an opaque one-way household value connects meaningful activity across sessions without revealing the household's internal ID.
Smart Food and pictures
Smart Food suggestions, including the name and packing components you ask about, are cached only inside your household and are removed with the household. Lunch Crew globally reuses generated pictures only for reviewed foods from its shared catalog; other custom labels use a built-in icon or an image you upload.
Accounts and household access
Parents manage the household account. Kids do not need separate Lunch Crew logins. Household planning information is associated with the household account so it can be used across the parent's devices.
Please keep your password private. If you need help with access, contact support.
Your questions and requests
You can update the household information you entered in Lunch Crew. You can also permanently delete your account and household information from Settings; account access ends immediately.
Lunch Crew removes owner-uploaded food images from storage, including older uploads in that account's private image area. If storage is temporarily unavailable, it keeps only the object key or private object prefix needed to retry that removal and deletes the cleanup record after the image is removed.
For questions about your information or account access, email support@lunchcrew.app.
Updates
Lunch Crew is still being tested and improved. If this privacy information changes in a meaningful way, we will update this page.
